According to the Intellectual Support Program of Health Talent in Mountainous Area by Health and Family Planning Commission of Guangdong Province, Zhang Guohua, Associate Chief Physician of Nephrology Department of Nanfang Hospital, left for Raoping Chinese Medicine Hospital in August 2014, and took a temporary post as Vice President to assist in hemodialysis work. Over the past year, Zhang Guohua overcame various difficulties, concentrated on assisting the hospital to seek development, and continuously improved the clinical diagnosis and treatment level of Hemodialysis Department, and completed the assistance work successfully. For what he did, he was highly recognized by hospital leaders, praised by local patients and fully affirmed by Party Committee of the hospital. 

Thanks to the efforts of Professor Zhang Guohua, the number of dialysis patients in Raoping Chinese Medicine Hospital increased significantly; the operational skills were promoted which rejuvenate new energy to the department. It can be demonstrated in the following three parts.

First, with the promotion of professional skills, the outpatient and inpatient number was increased steadily last year. Second, the level of diagnosis and treatment was improved. Doctors were trained in basic clinical operation, taught them the femoral vein puncture, temporary cannulation of the jugular vein, long-term cannulation of the jugular vein, arteriovenous fistula molding and other techniques, so Raoping Chinese Medicine Hospital became the only one that can do the above- mentioned operations in Chaozhou. Third, the public awareness of the renal department in that hospital was enhanced. It was him that led the building of Patients Association and invited experts from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University, Shantou Central Hospital and Chaozhou People's Hospital to further expand the social influence of Raoping Chinese Medicine Hospital and strengthen the cooperation between Hemodialysis Department and local higher-level hospitals that has played a positive role in promoting the development of disciplines.
