Dr. Qin earned his doctoral degree in Epidemiology and Health Statistics from Anhui Medical University, Hefei, China.Dr. Qin’s research interest is mainly based on the population study, especially focuses on the prevention of vascular complications for hypertension. Until April 2018, He has published 63 papers on SCI journals, including Lancet, JAMA, JAMA Intern Med, Hypertension, Am J Clin Nutr, et al., with more than 1100 times cited. Among them, 34 papers were signed as the first or the corresponding author, with total impact factor more than 160; 3 papers were recommended by the Faculty 1000 Medicine and also included in the 2016 Top Ten Clinical Trials in China.
His research results have been cited and recommended by clinical guidelines on hypertension or stroke control in China, the USA and Europe. Dr. Qin was also awarded one member of the Second Prize for the 2016 National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the First Class Prize for the 2015 Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Progress Award.
