Dr. Jun Wang is a nephrologist who cares for patients with kidney disease including glomerular nephritis, diabetic nephropathy, auto immune disease, acute kidney injury, and end stage renal disease. Wang’s research interest includes the mechanism of acute kidney injury and renal fibrosis. He is guiding graduate students to do related basic research within these directions.
Wang earned his Medical Doctor’s degree in Sun Yat-san University. He has completed residency training in Mario-Negri Institute under the guidance of Giuseppe Remuzzi and post-doctoral fellowship training in Ruijin Hospital under the direction of Nan Chen.
