Dr. Jiang jianping graduated from the Second Military Medical University in 1989 with a Bachelor  Degree in Medicine. He got his Master Degree from First Military Medical University in Internal Medicine. He is mainly in charge of the peritoneal dialysis section of the nephrology department. He is also the member of the expert database on technical appraisal for the medical negligence of Guangzhou medical association. Now he is the chief physician and associate professor of nephrology in Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University.
He has been working in the forefront of clinical work with rich experience. His specialty lies in diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease, the treatment of critically ill patients, the treatment of peritoneal dialysis, renal puncture biopsy, hemodialysis patient's liver biopsy and surgical peritoneal dialysis tube placement. His research interests included the prevention and treatment of chronic renal failure. He has presided over National Natural Science Foundation Program, Guangdong natural Science Foundation Program and so on.

He published more than 40 papers in renowned journals. Dr. Jiang has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Award, first prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award, first prize in the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, and the second prize in the Military Science and Technology Award.
