Qiugen Zhou, MD, PhD
Researcher
National Clinical Research Center for Kidney Disease
Division of Nephrology, Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University
Professor Qiugen Zhou is a nephrologist who cares for adult patients with chronic kidney disease. Zhou earned his medical degree from the Southern East University (SEU), School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Medical Center and a fellowship in adult nephrology at SEU. He also has a PhD degree in clinical research from Peking Union Medical College.
Zhou's research interests include diagnosing and managing chronic kidney disease in adults. He is currently studying how chronic inflammation occurs in patients with chronic kidney disease. He also belongs to the Chinese Society of Nephrology.
